On March 28, 2025, a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar, with its epicenter near Sagaing, close to Mandalay.  Myanmar needs your urgent support. For information on how to donate, please see the end of the article.

The earthquake has destroyed thousands of houses, bridges, temples, medical centers as well as uncountable deaths and missing persons.

The ongoing  civil war, with air strikes carried out by the cruel military group has been restricting many rescue activities, delaying response efforts and causing increased stress for civilians. No rescue activities can be carried out after 10 PM (MMT) due to the curfew law in the areas. Young people who would have typically been central to relief efforts are less encouraged to participate due to the risk of being forced into military recruitment.

The situation in Myanmar is getting worse, due to the large number of deaths and the struggles of relief efforts, and the smell of dead bodies is covering the town. There are many small villages that the rescue teams are trying to get access to and help.

We need your help and support. Myanmar people urgently need your donation.

The best thing we could do is to fund the rescued organizations and the teams who are out saving lives.

Please help!
